Janice Antol 1936-2026

Janice was born Oct. 8, 1936, in Providence, Rhode Island, a daughter of the late Fredrick and Violet Lugg Roles.

A devoted wife, mother and homemaker, Janice dedicated her life to caring for her family. After raising her children, she began a second career as a secretary with the Mahoning County Educational Service Center, where she worked for many years.

Janice married the love of her life, Carl Antol, on Sept. 21, 1957. They shared nearly 28 years of marriage before Carl’s passing July 30, 1985.

She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Alan (Jeanne) Antol of Poland and James (Carmen) Antol of Mercedes, Texas; her granddaughters, Ashley (Carlos) Hernandez and Danielle Antol; and her beloved great-granddaughters, Emilia and Isabella; and in-laws, Paul (Justine) Antol, Phillip Antol and Mary Beth (Lee) Young.

In addition to her parents and husband, Janice was preceded in death by her brothers, Conrad, Warren, Russell and Ernest Roles; and her sisters, Shirley Emlet and Dora Gallotta.

Family and friends may pay their respects 11 a.m. to noon Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4221 Market St., Boardman, OH 44512. A funeral service will follow at noon.

Janice will be laid to rest in Highland Memorial Park in Johnston, Rhode Island.
