Diane L. Carsonie 1948-2026
YOUNGSTOWN — Diane Lynn Carsonie, 78, of Youngstown, passed away peacefully at home with her son by her side on Wednesday, July 22, 2026.
Diane was born April 11, 1948, in Youngstown, a daughter of Eugene and Martha Martinko Molnar.
She was a 1966 graduate of Chaney High School.
A hairdresser for 53 years, she held a special place in her heart for her work at Vaschak-Kirila Funeral Home, where she found purpose and meaning in caring for others.
Diane wanted everyone to know how much she loved God and her family.
Diane will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her family: her son, Samuel (Susan) of Canfield; two grandchildren, Paul Carsonie and Sarah Carsonie; and her brother, Eugene Molnar.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Brian Molnar.
Diane will be cremated and there will be no services.
