David A. Robenolt 1964-2026
POLAND — David A. Robenolt passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at the age of 61.
Born on Nov. 19, 1964, in Youngstown, David was the son of Ardell and Eileen Robenolt.
He was a skilled diesel mechanic who spent many years maintaining school buses for the Austintown Local School District.
Dave loved staying busy. Rather it was a landscaping project, a home renovation, or keeping his lawn looking its best, he was always working with his hands and improving the place he called home. He did take time to enjoy the Pittsburgh Steelers games.
Above all, Dave was devoted to his wife, Kris. He was always looking for ways to make her life easier and was happiest when he was doing something for her.
He was very proud of his son Matt’s business accomplishments in the field of technology. He was equally proud of his daughter, Serena, supporting her music, both vocal and rock band.
Dave will be remembered for his hard work, the care he showed his friends and family, and his steady, no-nonsense approach to doing things the right way. His sudden passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kris; his daughter, Serena; his son, Matt (Kortni); his parents, Ardell and Eileen Robenolt; his siblings, Cindy (Don) and Kenny (Val); his beloved dog, Cutie; along with other cherished family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry.
Though his life ended far too soon, the love he gave, the work of his hands, and the memories he created will continue to live on in those who loved him.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Austintown Fitch High School Vocal Music Dept. and Rock Band Program, in honor of his daughter’s involvement and long-standing connection to the Austintown Local Schools.
A Celebration of Life will take place at 11 a.m. on Aug. 1, 2026, at the farm in Poland. Family and friends are asked to bring their own lawn chairs, as this will be an outdoor celebration.
