Clyde C. Fry 1953-2026
HUBBARD — Clyde C. Fry Jr., 72, died Saturday morning, July 11, 2026, at home.
He was born Sept. 11, 1953, in Youngstown, a son of Clyde C. Sr. and Dolly E. Thomas Fry.
Clyde worked for Youngstown Sheet and Tube, Valley Mold and EASCO Aluminum, which became Indalex; he then worked in maintenance for SIMCO Properties, retiring in 2016.
He was a 1972 Hubbard High School graduate and of the Methodist faith.
He enjoyed golfing and was an avid bowler, having bowled three 300 games and an 802 series. He was a diehard fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Pittsburgh Pirates. He loved spending time with his friends at the Village Tavern and The Marconi Club, but spending time with his family was the most important, especially his grandchildren.
Clyde leaves his wife, the former Paula Dressel, whom he married Oct. 14, 1983; his son, Phillip Fry of New York City; his daughter, Casey (Matthew) Yanik of Liberty Township; three sisters, Linda (Albert) Stasko of Florida, Joyce (Bill) Torr of Georgia and Kozette Sinibaldi of Florida; his precious grandchildren, Penelope “Penapea” Yanik and Charles Yanik; and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Fry was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Anthony Sinibaldi.
Family and friends may call 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Kelley-Cummins Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Deacon John Bartos officiating.
