Wilda L. Donegan 1929-2026

She was born Dec. 3, 1929, in Salem, to the late Irvin Gleason and Myrtle Irene Schiller Morey.

Wilda worked for the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, instilling her love for music in them.

She attended many concerts at Severance Hall with her late husband Vernon and traveled all around the world together, taking in the music and culture everywhere they went.

She was a member of Mu Phi Epsilon International Music Sorority for more than 75 years.

After her retirement, she joined the Martha Holden Jennings Foundation as an educational consultant, where she spent an additional 24 years supporting teachers and educational programs throughout Ohio and nearby states.

Wilda’s family will greet friends 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at Jardine Funeral Home, 15822 Pearl Road. A funeral service will begin at noon at the funeral home.

Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park in North Olmsted.
