Theresa A. Sebest 1936-2026
CAMPBELL — Theresa A. Sebest, 89, passed away peacefully Friday evening, June 5, 2026, with her family by her side.
Theresa was born Oct. 16, 1936, to Paul and Ann Shulko Bosela and was a lifelong area resident.
Theresa worked as a warehouse distributor for over 20 years.
She was a member of St. Joseph the Provider Church in Campbell until its closing, where she was very active as a festival worker and a pierogi pincher. She was most recently a member of St. Patrick Church in Hubbard.
She was a 1954 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School.
Theresa married Donald J. Sebest on Oct. 17, 1959, and he passed away Dec. 20, 1978.
Theresa loved traveling with her sister and enjoyed family vacations at the beach every year. She was an excellent cook and an avid baker. Hosting holiday gatherings and baking kolachi, kiffles and traditional baked goods such as Easter bread brought her much joy.
Theresa will be dearly missed by her sons, Donald M. Sebest and Jeffrey A. (Mary) Sebest; her grandsons, John and Joseph Sebest; her sister, Mary Malys; her sister-in-law, Carole (Richard) Pizzuti; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, Donald, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Paul, Michael and John Bosela, and George Botko.
The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Dr. Santuccio Ricciardi, a dear family friend and personal physician, for many decades of excellent care. They also would like to thank Sanctuary Hospice for their compassionate care.
The Sebest family has entrusted Theresa’s final care to the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell, where calling hours will be 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 10, 2026.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 11, 2026, at St. Patrick Church in Hubbard, celebrated by the Rev. Michael Balash. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the church Thursday for Mass.
Theresa will be laid to rest next to her husband in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Cemetery in Lowellville.
