Sandra Louise Evans 1945-2026
DIAMOND — Sandra Louise Evans, 80, passed away, leaving a legacy of devotion to her family, whom she cherished above all else.
Born July 1, 1945, to Lawrence and Minnie DeMarco, Sandy graduated from East High School in 1964 and lived a life guided by her devout Catholic faith.
On Feb. 24, 1968, she married Richard D. Evans at Sacred Heart Church. Together, they shared 58 beautiful years of marriage.
A dedicated homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, her warmth and unconditional love will be deeply missed.
Sandy leaves behind her beloved husband, Richard; her daughter, Tracy Evans (Arkwright) of Kent; her son, Jeffrey Evans of Youngstown; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Mims, Matthew Arkwright and Alyssa Evans; and two great-grandsons, Rowan Justice and Viridis Vizi.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Mildred Fossecessna, Bernice Popa, Veletia Speziale and June (Anthony) Belfast; her brother, Larry DeMarco; and in-laws, Nancy and Bill Evans.
Calling hours will be 11 a.m. to noon Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at Lane Funeral Home in Austintown, followed immediately by a service.
Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Youngstown.
