YOUNGSTOWN — Lloyd McCullough III, 66, of Youngstown, departed this life at 4:26 p.m. Sunday, June 14, 2026, at his residence, following complications from an extended illness.
He was born March 5, 1960, in Youngstown, the son of Lloyd II and Mary A. Mitchell McCullough.
Lloyd was employed with Goodwill Industries for 35 years as a supervisor before retiring in 2020.
A 1980 graduate of The Rayen School, he enjoyed watching football, listening to music and playing cards and video games. Lloyd was an avid Cleveland Browns football fan.
He leaves to mourn one brother, Darryl (Cherisa) McCullough of Youngstown; special friends, Andre Hughley, Ms. Vicky Jones and Ms. Joy Hegel, all of Youngstown; a niece, Ms. Sydney Marie McCullough of Youngstown; two nephews, Darryl B. McCullough and Dawaylon D. McCullough, both of Youngstown; two aunts, Ms. Annie McCullough and Ms. Myra L. McCullough, both of Youngstown; and a host of relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Mary McCullough II, and one sister, Ms. Deborah McCullough.
Funeral services will be at noon Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at the Sterling-McCullough Williams Youngstown Funeral Chapel, with calling hours from 11 a.m. to noon.
Burial will take place at Belmont Park Cemetery.
Arrangements of comfort were handled by the Sterling-McCullough Williams Youngstown Funeral Home.
