Jeanne Makosky 1954-2026

Jean was born Dec. 2, 1954. She grew up in Austintown, attended Immaculate Heart of Mary and was a graduate of Austintown Fitch High School in 1973.

Jeanne provided child care to many local families. She loved her chosen profession and the everyday interaction and the joy she received from each household she worked for.

Jean also felt very welcomed by her church family at Bethel Assembly of God. The fellowship, friendship and acceptance they provided her were something that touched Jeanne to her very soul.

Jeanne is sadly missed by her sister, Rosemarie, and her brother, Thomas.

Health issues became a real trial for Jean as the years went by. She came to live at The Inn at Christine Valley. Rose and Tom really appreciated the helpfulness, kindness and encouragement she received at their hands.

Jeanne will be laid to rest at a later date in Belmont Park Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome to attend.

God called Jean home. We, her family, believe she was ready to answer that call.
