Bonnie L. Sudol 1950-2026

McDONALD — Bonnie L. Sudol, 75, passed away Saturday afternoon, June 20, 2026, surrounded by her family, at Continuing Health Care at the Ridge in Mineral Ridge.

She was born Nov. 19, 1950, in McDonald, a daughter of Walter and Rita Ferrell Koniowsky.

Bonnie was a 1968 graduate of McDonald High School and spent most of her adult life as a homemaker, raising and caring for her family.

She married Chester P. Sudol on Feb. 13, 1971. Together they shared 55 years of marriage and many happy memories. He survives her.

Bonnie was a member of the Queen of Heaven Parish-Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church in McDonald.

Her greatest joy in life was her family. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Joseph (Patricia) Sudol and Chester (Katy) Sudol, both of McDonald; two brothers, Walt Koniowsky of Houston, Texas, and Jerry (Cindy) Koniowsky of Georgia; three beloved grandchildren, Logan, Joey (Maddie) and Chelsea; and two great-grandsons, Brantley and Grayson.

She was preceded in death by her parents and by a sister, Kathleen Koniowsky.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday, July 3, at Queen of Heaven Parish-Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 618 Ohio Ave., McDonald, with the Rev. Richard Murphy as celebrant.
