Arlene W. Mason 1934-2026

She was born Feb. 12, 1934, in Taylorsville, North Carolina, to the late Charlie and Lois Kerley Wike.

Arlene never met a stranger and enjoyed talking with everyone she met. She was a hardworking woman who loved spending time outdoors, working outside and being with her family.

Arlene retired from Packard Electric after 31 years of service, where she met her husband, Arlan. They shared 61 years of marriage. Together, they enjoyed traveling throughout the country, including trips to Alaska, many states along both coasts and annual visits with family in Florida.

Left to cherish Arlene’s memory are her husband, Arlan Mason; children, David (Myra) Fitzgerald and Erica (Norm) Bush; grandchildren, Sarah Harvey, Kaitlyn Bush and Norman Bush; great-grandchildren, Marissa, Lilly, Leah and Brooklyn; and brother, Jasper Wike.

She was preceded in death by her son, Mitch Fitzgerald; granddaughters, Julie Meyer and Megan Fitzgerald; and siblings, Henry, Curlee, Atlee, Bert, Lonabell, Lottie and Kenneth.

Memorial contributions may be made, in Arlene’s memory, to Akeso Hospice.

Family and friends may visit from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Lane Funeral Home, Roberts-Clark Chapel, 180 Garfield Drive NE, Warren, OH 44483.

A funeral service will begin at noon at the funeral home.

Arlene will be laid to rest at Pine View Memorial Gardens.
