Michael E. O’Donnell 1956-2026
BOARDMAN — Michael E. O’Donnell, 70, passed away early Tuesday morning, May 19, 2026, at his home with his family by his side.
Michael was born Jan. 12, 1956, in Wheeling, W.Va., the son of Vincent and Lovis Marson O’Donnell.
He worked as a coal miner for many years and was also a truck driver.
In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting and spending time with his daughter and son-in-law.
Michael will always be remembered lovingly by his daughter, Mary (Michael) Bayless, with whom he made his home; two sisters, Mary Ann (Richard) Robinson and Christine (Clark) Hansbarger; and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by his brother, Jerry O’Donnell.
Family and friends may pay their respects 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave., Boardman, followed by funeral services at noon.
