Michael A. Pallante 1955-2026

YOUNGSTOWN — Michael Anthony Pallante, 70, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 7, 2026.

He was born Sept. 27, 1955, in Youngstown, a son of the late Albert Anthony Pallante and Betty Pallante, née Grombacher.

Michael graduated from Austintown Fitch High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and biology at Youngstown State University. He took pride in serving as a firefighter in the United States Air Force.

From 1987 to 1996, he taught biology and physics at East High School. Additionally, he worked as a police officer for Mill Creek Park.

Michael was an avid Cleveland sports fan. He loved to read, workout and listen to country music.

Michael is survived by his wife, Gloria Pallante, nee Hanuscak; daughter, Alyssa (Anthony) Ferraro of Boardman; son, Anthony Pallante of Boardman; and cherished grandchildren, Bonnibel and Miles Ferraro.

A calling hour will be 4 to 5 p.m. Monday, May 11, 2026, at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Boardman-Canfield Chapel, followed by a funeral service at 5 p.m. The service will conclude with military honors.
