John Quinn O’Malley 1954-2026

JENKS, Okla. — John Quinn O’Malley, 72, passed away peacefully Friday, May 15, 2026.

John was born March 9, 1954, in Youngstown, to Howard J. O’Malley Jr. and Rosemary Quinn O’Malley. He graduated from Ursuline High School in the Class of 1972 and continued his education at Gannon University in Pennsylvania.

John worked for the family business before relocating to Beaumont, Texas, and later settling in Jenks, Oklahoma, where he made his home.

He had a deep love for the outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing, hunting and golf. John also had a special affection for animals.

John is survived by his loving and devoted partner, Lysandra Julian, who stood by his side with extraordinary love and care; his brother, Breen G. O’Malley; sister-in-law, Lori O’Malley; nephews, Howard “Jay” O’Malley and his wife, Jackie, and their daughters, Fiona and Phoebe of Columbus; Sean O’Malley and his significant other, Morgan Kise of California; and niece, Bridget Spangler and her husband, James and their children, Jameson and Jocelyn of Dayton.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Howard J. O’Malley III.

Per John’s request, no services will take place.
