Carol A. Smith 1944-2026

Carol was born Jan. 19, 1944, in Youngstown, the daughter of Michael and Claudine Robinson Smith.

Carol was a faithful member of Churchill United Methodist Church. She created her own greeting card ministry, where she would send cards to many people for their birthdays and special occasions. She also loved cooking and trying new recipes, and playing her computer games.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her sister, Nancy R. Smith, whom she lived with all her life, and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her sister, Ruth A. Fisher; and her brothers, Charles Smith, David Smith, Donald Smith, Michael Smith and James Smith.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, at Church Hill United Methodist Church, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 10 until the time of service.

The family suggests any memorial contributions be made to the Church Memorial Fund in Carol’s memory.
