Beverly A. Crowl 1952-2026
STRUTHERS – Beverly Ann Crowl, 73, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 18, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Beverly was born Nov. 28, 1952, in Ellwood City, Pa., a daughter of the late Vernard and Angelica F. Bevivino Newton. She moved to the Youngstown area in 2018.
Beverly worked in healthcare as an STNA for over 20 years and later transitioned to retail before retiring.
Beverly found her greatest joy in spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was their biggest fan and cherished attending their school activities and sporting events, particularly Friday night football games. In her free time, Beverly enjoyed playing bingo and taking road trips with her family.
Besides her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her beloved companion, William T. Caplinger, who passed away May 5, 2024; and by two sisters, Barbara Wallen and Bonnie Dorchnic.
Beverly leaves to cherish her memory her children, Denise McManigal of Struthers, Michele (Mark) Samsa of Youngstown, Cindy (Gernot Eggen) Crowl of Medford, Massachusetts, Julie (William) Jones of East Liverpool and Derek (Dana) Crowl of Columbiana; her seven grandchildren, Kelsey McManigal, Jeffrey McManigal, Madelyn Crowl, Angelica Jones, Kendra Jones, Isabella Crowl and Hunter Crowl; a sister, Brenda Schnieder; her brother, Vernard Newton; her beloved four-legged companion, Gypsy; and her granddog, Henry.
Family and friends may call 4 to 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, 270 N. Main St., Poland. A celebration of life service will follow at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with Pastor Joe Banco officiating.
