Ann Marie Grischow 1958-2026

POLAND — Ann Marie Grischow, 67, of Poland, passed away early Tuesday morning, May 19, 2026, at Shepherd of the Valley Nursing Center in Poland.

She was born June 2, 1958, in Youngstown, the daughter of Walter C. and Patricia L. McKula Grischow.

Ann Marie was a 1976 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and did secretarial / clerical work for the DeBartolo Corp., Youngstown Cold Metal Products and Youngstown Steel Door prior to retiring.

She was an active member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Austintown, where she began the greeting card ministry, and she enjoyed volunteering with the church Bible studies, blood drives and rummage sales. She also enjoyed all kinds of music and loved playing “LCR” (Left, Center, Right) with her friends in their card club.

Ann Marie is survived by her two brothers, James (Laurie) Grischow of Boardman and Thomas (Stephanie Champlin) Grischow of Salem. She also leaves behind three nephews, Kevin (Tara) Grischow, Eric (Tizzy) Grischow and Will Champlin; a great-nephew, Eli; and two great-nieces, Leona and Claudia Jean “CJ.”

She was preceded in death by her parents and a by sister-in-law, Cheri Grischow.

Funeral services will be at noon Saturday, May 23, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2305 S. Canfield-Niles Road, Austintown, with the Rev. Dale Krienke officiating.

Friends may call 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Redeemer Lutheran Church.

She will be laid to rest near her beloved parents in North Jackson Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church in Ann Marie’s memory.
