Virginia Sue Reinard 1951-2026
HUBBARD — With heavy hearts, we share the passing of a truly remarkable woman, Virginia “Ginny” Sue Reinard, 74, a loving mom, sister, grandmother and aunt whose heart was bigger than words can describe, who passed away at home on Sunday, March 29, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Ginny was born July 26, 1951, in Brookville, Pa., a daughter of the late Evelyn Reinard Geer and Harry G. Reinard. Ginny was a 1969 graduate of Hubbard High School and a lifelong resident of Hubbard.
She spent her life caring for others. Her family was her greatest joy, and she loved each of them fiercely. But her compassion didn’t stop there. She had a gift for seeing when someone — or some animal — needed help, and she never turned away. She rescued animals who had been abandoned or forgotten, giving them safety, patience and love. In so many ways, she rescued people too.
Her absence leaves a space that cannot be filled, but the love she gave continues to live on in her family in the countless lives she touched.
Ginny is survived by her son, Max (Ashley) Mansour of Hubbard; two grandchildren, Max and Sydney; three sisters, Carol Reinard, Cathy Reinard and Kim (Ken) Geer Smith; and one brother, Harry (Sharon) Reinard. Ginny also leaves numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, and many friends, all of whom loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Fred Geer; and her son, Roy Lee Mansour.
Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Her legacy of compassion, love and rescue will never be forgotten.
At Ginny’s request there will be no memorial service. She requested that any contributions be made to The Healthy Hearts and Paws Project, 909 Martin Luther Blvd. SW, Warren, OH 44485, in her memory.
