Stella Argeras 1930-2026
POLAND — Stella Argeras passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at her home, surrounded by the love she gave so freely throughout her life.
She was the heart of her family, loving deeply and giving endlessly, with a presence that brought comfort to all who knew her.
She will be remembered for her Greek cooking and pastries that brought loved ones together. Stella also had a strong faith and was a faithful member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Youngstown.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 75 years, Ernest; her loving son, George (Audrey); her cherished grandchildren, Nicholas (Danielle), Alexander and Cassandra, all of Poland; and her three beautiful great-grandchildren, Mila, Liam and Silas, who were the light of her life.
Stella was preceded in death by her parents, George and Anna (Gadinis) Alexiou, and her sister, Theodora Alexiou.
Her legacy is one of love, strength and unwavering devotion to family. While a part of our hearts went with her, we are forever grateful for the life she lived and the love she leaves behind. Her memory will be eternal.
Calling hours will be 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, April 30, 2026, at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church on Walnut Street, Youngstown, with a funeral service to follow at 11 a.m.
