Paula K. Parker 1957-2026
YOUNGSTOWN — Paula Kay Parker, 68, of Youngstown, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at her home.
Paula was born Sept. 17, 1957, in Youngstown, the daughter of Russell J. Anania and Pauline R. Mustachio Anania.
A proud graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, Class of 1975, Paula went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in arts from Youngstown State University.
She dedicated many years of her career to working in alterations at Rondinelli’s Dry Cleaning, where she was known for her skill, attention to detail and warm personality.
Paula had a deep love for life’s simple pleasures. She enjoyed bowling and participated in many leagues over the years. She was an avid fan of classic film noir movies and found joy in reading novels by Agatha Christie. A devoted fan of the Green Bay Packers, Paula rarely missed a game. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family and friends, to whom she was deeply devoted.
Paula was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas Parker, whom she married July 21, 1979. He passed away on Oct. 31, 2018. Also preceding her is her father, Russell J. Anania, who passed on March 20, 2021.
Paula is survived by her mother, Pauline Anania of Youngstown; her brother, Michael (Kim) Anania of Boardman; her sisters, Kimberly (Robert) Burns of Boardman and Pamela (Bruce Jr.) Gigax of Struthers; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews, including Janina, Samantha, Nicholas, Kelly, Brooke, Christine, Mary Frances, Brett, Jonathan, Michael and Justin; and numerous extended family members. She also leaves behind her beloved cat, Toby.
Family and friends will be received from 5 until 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2026, and from 9 a.m. until the time of prayer service at 10:15 a.m. Thursday, April 30, 2026, at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, 11 Spring St., Struthers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 30, at St. Angela Merici Parish, 397 S Jackson St., Youngstown, OH 44506.
