Paul E. Wick 1956-2026
HUBBARD — Paul E. Wick, 70, died peacefully on Friday afternoon, April 17, 2026, at Oasis Center for Rehabilitation and Healing.
Paul was born March 24, 1956, in Youngstown, a son of Donald Lee and Ethel Mae Gardner Wick.
Paul was a 1974 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and Mahoning County Career and Technical Center. He worked at Monroe Muffler as an auto technician for over 20 years, retiring in 2015. He was a member of Corner House Christian Church.
Paul was an owner, mechanic and driver of sprint cars for many years, racing at Sharon Speedway. A member of the Boy Scouts, he received the Eagle Scout Award. He was also a member of Alcoholics Anonymous.
Paul enjoyed cooking and gardening, swimming, fishing and boating.
He is survived by his daughter, Hannah L. Donahue of Cortland; a brother, Ronald A. Wick of Rochester, New York; and a sister, Peggy M. (Steve) Whaley of Logansport, Indiana.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will take place at a later date.
