Michael M. Marshall 1963-2026

NORTH LIMA — Michael M. Marshall passed away peacefully, Tuesday evening, April 7, 2026, with his loving family by his side.

Michael was born Feb. 26, 1963, to David and Mary Lou Marshall. Growing up on the family farm alongside his siblings, he developed a tireless work ethic and a deep appreciation for the land that would stay with the family. After graduating from The Kiski School, Michael pursued his passion for building at Youngstown State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. His professional journey was marked by a reputation for integrity and excellence. He operated his own firm, Ashbrook Group, and then worked for Greenheart Companies as their senior project manager for many years.

Beyond his professional achievements, Michael’s heart belonged to his family and the simple joys of life. On May 25, 1990, he married the love of his life, Deborah D. Marshall, with whom he shared a beautiful and devoted life together with their four children until her passing in 2007. Whether he was casting a line into a quiet lake, perfecting his swing on the golf course or taking a peaceful drive through the scenic winding roads of Mill Creek Park, Michael found beauty in the world around him. Above all, he was a fiercely proud father, finding his greatest purpose in supporting his children’s endeavors any way he could. Known for his quick wit and an infectious ability to make others laugh, Michael left behind a legacy of warmth, hard work and a reminder to never take life too seriously.

Michael leaves to cherish his precious memory, his parents David Marshall and Mary Lou Marshall; his children, Jacob (Angela) Marshall, Maxwell (Kelsey) Marshall, Alexander (Shiane) Marshall and Lily Marshall; his grandchildren, Landon, Jason, Caellum and Aurelia; his siblings, Todd Marshall, Melinda (Russell) Kapalin, Betsy Barda and Doug (Agnieszka) Marshall; mother in-law, Jann Dolan; and several cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 17 years, Mrs. Deborah D. Marshall, and his aunt Christine Botos.

Family and friends may call 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 19, 2026, at the Edward J. Fox and Sons Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman, OH 44512, with words of remembrance starting at 3 p.m.
