Mary K. Jobe 1947-2026
COOKSBURG, Pa. — Mary Kathleen Jobe, 79, formerly of Liberty, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Concord Care Center in Hartford.
She was born Feb. 23, 1947, a daughter to Jack and Elizabeth Donnelly Bletsch.
Mary was a Niles McKinley High School graduate and a member of Churchill United Methodist Church.
After graduation, Mary worked as a registered nurse at Northside Hospital.
She enjoyed shopping trips and taking long walks. She also loved to read. Mary and her husband spent many days at their cabin in Cook Forest with family, where they made memories for a lifetime.
Above all else, Mary cherished her time spent with her grandkids, whom she loved dearly.
She leaves behind her husband, Gary Jobe; children, Joyce (Kevin) Fanning and Katie (David) Bengala; her grandchildren, Zachary and Connor Fanning, and Deanna and Hunter Bengala; and great-grandchildren, Lainey and Emmett; along with her brothers, Gary (Chris) Bletsch and Bob (Doreen) Bletsch.
Besides her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her brother, John Bletsch.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 9, at Churchill United Methodist Church in Liberty.
