Margaret Ohl Grace 1930-2026
POLAND — Margaret Ohl Grace, 95, of Poland, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2026.
Born May 9, 1930, in Warren, she was the daughter of David E. and Ruth Davis Ohl.
Margaret graduated from Connecticut College in 1952 and later earned a master’s degree from the University of Chicago. She devoted her life to faith, family, and service to others.
Margaret worked as a social worker and counselor and was deeply involved in her church and community. Over the years, she volunteered with numerous organizations, including Habitat for Humanity, Meals on Wheels, and local senior and historical programs. Her dedication earned her several community service honors.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, David James Ohl, who was killed in action during the Korean War.
Margaret is survived by her children, Karyn (Bill) and Keith (Lisa); and her beloved grandchildren, Christopher, Olivia and Leo.
A lifelong woman of faith, Margaret remained active in church and community well into her nineties. She will be remembered for her compassion, strength, and unwavering commitment to helping others.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 16, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. at First Covenant Church, 5210 Glenwood Ave., Boardman.
Burial will follow at Ohltown Cemetery.
