Leslie A. Patrone 1965-2026

COLUMBUS — Leslie Ann Patrone, 60, passed away Sunday morning, March 29, 2026.

She was born and raised in Youngstown, and spent the remainder of her life in Columbus with family and friends.

She graduated from Cardinal Mooney High School in 1983. She continued on to Youngstown State University before transferring to The Ohio State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy in 1990.

Leslie became a Registered Pharmacist and practiced for over 25 years.

She was an avid runner and loved running on the Heritage Rail Trail in Hilliard. She later joined the CrossFit community, and while she loved the sport, she did not enjoy the box jumps or burpees.

When she wasn’t working or working out, she loved to spend her free time trying new restaurants, swimming or sunbathing by the beach or pool, cooking and baking, or just spending time with family. She was the epitome of selflessness and gave freely of her time and talent.

Leslie was preceded in death by her mother and hero, Irene Patrone, in 2020.

She is survived by, her father, Neil Patrone; two sisters, Andrea (Samuel) Mattison and Teresa (Thomas) Morell; a brother, Christopher (MaryAnn) Patrone; three children, Nicholas (Aisha) Eastham, Natalie (Sasha) Yeremenko and Danielle Eastham; two grandsons, Theodore and Mazen; five nephews, Thomas, Anthony, Matthew (Alyssa), Christopher (Kate) and Alexander; and her pet rabbit, Brutus.

She will be, and is already, greatly missed.
