Janet Mehalco 1937-2026
GIRARD — Janet Mehalco, 88, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Windsor House in Masury.
Janet was born April 26, 1937, in Youngstown, a daughter to the late Victor and Goldie Snidman Bujher.
She was a graduate of Girard High School and devoted her life to caring for her family.
In her spare time, Janet enjoyed painting and watching TV, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Left to cherish Janet’s memory are her sons, John (Mary Lou) Mehalco and William (Donna) Mehalco Jr.; sister, Charlotte Fuller; grandchildren, William (Hayley) Mehalco, Mark (Andrea) Mehalco and Kelly (Bradley) Zuckerwise; and great-grandchildren, Bella, Madelyn, Hudson and Henry.
Along with her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her husband, William M. Mehalco Sr., who passed away Dec. 8, 1992.
In accordance with Janet’s wishes, there will be no services.
