James H. Frazier 1957-2026
POLAND — James “Jim” Harrison Frazier, 68, of Poland, went home to his Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 29, 2026, with his loving wife, Charlene Frazier, by his side.
He was born on June 11, 1957, in Columbus, a son of the late Robert and Margaret Frazier.
Jim proudly served his country in the United States Army for four years.
He was a respected signal maintainer for Norfolk Southern Railroad until his retirement in 2021.
He liked hiking to mountain overlooks, camping and sitting around the fire pit. He loved grilling out and spending time with his family. Through all of his battles in life, Jim found strength and victory in his Savior, Jesus Christ, and now resides with Him for eternity.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Quentin Frazier, and his granddaughter, Josephine Faith DiCaprio.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Charlene Kay Frazier; his children, April (Justin) Miller, Jennifer (David) Sabine, Heather (Chuck) Miles, Stephanie (Brandon) DiCaprio and Andrew Frazier. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, Merci, Frederick, Harold, Alaina, Killian, Adeline, Lincoln and Evangeline. He is sorely missed by many other family members, friends and his church family.
Calling hours will be 10 a.m. Saturday, April 25, 2026, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11 a.m. Both services will take place at Poland Village Baptist Church, 79 Hill Drive, Poland, OH 44514.
