Harold E. Felger Jr. 1965-2026
AUSTINTOWN — Harold E. “Butch” Felger Jr., 60, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2026.
Born Sept. 23, 1965, he was the son of the late Harold Eugene Felger Sr. and Nora Ann Barton Felger.
A beloved father, brother, grandfather and “fun uncle,” Butch was an electrician by trade and known as someone who could fix anything.
Beyond his technical skills, he will be remembered for his infectious laughter and lively spirit. Whether he was attending a concert, cheering on the Cleveland sports teams, rooting for OSU or YSU, or simply enjoying a cold beer in the sun by the pool, he brought light and energy wherever he was present.
Butch built a life centered around the people he loved, never missing an opportunity to enjoy the best aspects of life alongside his friends and family. He leaves behind a legacy of precious memories shared with everyone close to him.
He is survived by his two sons, Mack R. and Zack A. (Kaytlin); his daughter, Amber N. (Ryan); and his beloved grandson, Lucian Anderson.
Butch is also survived by two sisters, Nancy A. (Terry) Rusu of Austintown and Kathleen M. (Bob) Marstellar of Hubbard; and five brothers, Kevin E. (Susan) of Craig Beach, Charles E. (Bettie) of Port Washington, David A. (Kris) of Austintown, Edward T. of Austintown and Lawrence J. of Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his infant brother, Harold Thomas, and parents, Harold Sr. and Nora Ann.
He will be deeply missed by a host of friends and extended family members.
A private gathering to share stories, celebrate his life and remember Butch will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Youngstown Skatepark Association in his memory.
