Gleanora J. Wasser 1937-2026

Gleanora was born April 21, 1937, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, a daughter of Ailrad & Carrie Louise Shafer Van Horn.

She enjoyed gardening, flowers, music, dancing and spending time with her family.

Gleanora will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her family: husband, Karl E. Wasser Jr., whom she married Nov. 2, 1979; children, Debra (Joseph) Mound of Rootstown, Daniel (Victoria) Bidwell of Auburndale, Florida, Stephanie (James) Rogers of Jacksonville, Florida; six grandchildren, Carrie Mound, Danielle Grieme, Ashley Alexander, Katie Vertes, Jacob Rogers and Zachary Rogers; nine great-grandchildren; and grandson-in-law Marc Bourn.

Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kelly Bourn, and her sister, Donna Cooper.

There will be funeral services at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 11, 2026, with calling hours prior to the service, from 2 to 3 p.m. at Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home.

Gleanora will be laid to rest at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
