Carl E. Flesher 1957-2026
STRUTHERS — Carl E. Flesher, 68, passed away Thursday morning, April 2, 2026, at the Cleveland Clinic.
Carl was born Sept. 20, 1957, in Ellwood City, Pa., a son of George F. and Bertha I. Assalone, and lived in the area his whole life.
He served in the U.S. Army and he worked for the Bruce Sikora Excavating Co. installing sewer lines, and then owned his own construction company, Flesher Construction, which he was most proud of.
He was of the Protestant faith and enjoyed playing golf, reading, old moviesand older cars, and especially loved his family.
Carl married the former Dalaine M. Peluso on March 18, 1978.
Besides his wife of Struthers, he leaves one son, Carl James Flesher of Campbell; four brothers, Gary L. (Darlene) Flesher of Lowellville, Richard (Louise) Flesher of Poland, Dennis Flesher of North Carolina and Darryle K. (Kim) Flesher of New Middletown; five sisters, Debbie I. (Danny) Brothers of New Middletown, Terry L. (Mike) Felton of Youngstown, Christine E. (Bob) Simione of Lowellville, Kimberly S. (Tom Probst) McConnell of Youngstown and Robin M. (Ennio) Iacovone of Campbell.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Sandy L. Shipley.
