Barbara A. Gengler 1941-2026

She was born Oct. 3, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois, a daughter of the late James E. and Alice H. Kelsey Woodhall. As a caring woman, Barbara made friends with everyone she met, including all the neighborhood dogs.

Her husband, Ronald Gengler Sr., whom she married Dec. 19, 1959, passed away April 11, 2018.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Pamela (Kevin) Stine, Marie (Brett) Julian and Ronald (Karey, deceased 2018) Gengler Jr.; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, with two on the way; and a childhood friend, Lucy Langello.

Barbara was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Jack Smith; four brothers and two sisters.

There will be a memorial service at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, April 23, at Bethel Friendship Church, 2771 Spitler Road, Poland.
