Timothy Holland 1962-2026
KILLEEN, Texas — Our family would like to inform our esteemed community that SSG Timothy Holland went home to our Lord and Savior on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2026.
Timothy was born April 29, 1962, in Buffalo, New York, to Gene Holland and Marjory Scott.
He faithfully served his country until his retirement in 1993, but he never stopped serving the community he loved. His big heart and his love of good food and good music made many people — not just in Killeen, Texas, or Youngstown, but around the world — more than just neighbors. They became his family.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Anner Holland; as well as his beloved children, Marjorie Ann Holland-Brown (Leon Brown), Michelle Holland, Melissa Desiree Holland, Lisa Marie Holland-Griffin (Petty Officer 2nd Class Delaney Griffin) and Timothy Holland II (son of Jaya Green).
He is further survived by his siblings, Pamela Pringle, Dale Holland, Andre Holland, Carlton Holland and Samuel Holland; along with plenty of in-laws, friends and others who looked up to him as a father figure and a dearest friend.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gene Holland; his mother, Marjory Scott; his sister, Dollie Holland; and mother-in-law, Lillian Ann Cottle.
