June Marshall 1944-2026

POLAND — June Marshall, 81, of Poland, formerly of Liberty, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Shepherd of the Valley in Poland.

June was born June 1, 1944, in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Michael and Caroline Kimberly Marino.

A graduate of The Rayen School, June embarked upon a career that underscored her devotion to her community.

She served with distinction as a dispatcher for the Liberty Police Department, where her professionalism and dedication were evident day-to-day. Additionally, she worked as a loss prevention officer at Hills Department Store in Liberty, continuing her efforts to ensure community safety. Her commitment to law enforcement was formally recognized in 2025 when she was honored as an honorary police officer in Beaver Township, a testament to her exemplary service.

June was a long-standing and active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Youngstown and Trinity Lutheran Church in Girard. Her faith guided much of her life’s work; she served as a deacon, distributed communion to shut-ins and was an integral part of the church choir. Furthermore, June contributed as a Sunday School teacher and was a valued participant in Bible study groups. Her devotion to her church communities was a cornerstone of her identity.

Beyond her service and faith commitments, June was known for her love of baking and cake decorating, the quiet challenge of puzzles, and the enriching fellowship of Bible study. These interests enriched her personal life and provided joy to those who knew her.
