Drew Tkach 1959-2026

Drew was born June 27, 1959, in Youngstown, son of the late Michael and Arlene Berkebile Tkach.

Drew had worked as an electronic technician and was self-employed for many years. He enjoyed helping others in his community. He also enjoyed motorcycle riding and the outdoors, especially fishing.

He is survived by his wife, the former Bernice Beight, whom he married June 21, 1980; his son, Michael R. Tkach of Chicago, Illinois; a brother, Dennis (Kathi) Tkach of New Waterford; a brother-in-law, Joe Paskowski of Madison; and two sisters, Denise Potter of Boardman and Dawn Witherow of Vienna.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Debbe Paskowski.

The family will receive friends 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia.

A memorial service will follow at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with Pastor Kari Lankford officiating.
