William H. Workman 1937-2026

Born Sept. 26, 1937, in Youngstown, William was a son of the late Harold J. and May Kent Workman. He was a graduate of South High School.

On Oct. 19, 1961, William married the love of his life, the former Judith Mathey. Together they shared 46 loving years of marriage until her passing in 2007.

William proudly served his country in the United States Army. Following his military service, he worked for several years as a Realtor.

In his spare time, Bill found great enjoyment hunting and trap shooting with his brother, Jerry. He was a longtime member of the Mahoning Valley Sportsman’s Club.

William is survived by his daughter, Wendy; his brother, Gerald “Jerry” Workman of Boardman; his nephew, Scott (Melanie) Workman; and his great-nephew, Nicholas Workman.

An hour of visitation will be held from 5 until the time of service at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2026, at the Davis-Becker Funeral Home, 8536 Market St., Boardman, OH 44512.

William will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife in Lake Park Cemetery.
