William D. Boughamer 1953-2026

He was born June 27, 1953, in Youngstown, a son of the late Harold and Mary Pearl Boley Boughamer.

William married Gwenda on Oct. 28, 1986. Together, they shared almost 40 years of marriage and wonderful memories.

Bill was a 1971 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School. He retired with over 30 years as a train operator from LTV / WCI Steel. Bill loved bowling with the bowling crew every Wednesday, as well as fishing and golfing. William was an avid Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Guardians fan. His passion was spending time with his grandkids and his dogs, Brutus and Dior.

Bill is survived by his loving wife, Gwenda Boughamer; children, Effie (Sam) Jordon, Danny (Heidi) Boughamer, Mindy Boughamer and Star (Marcus) Johnson; grandchildren, Nikolas, Christopher, Victoria, Dylan, Julia, Ellianna, Marcus, Maxwell, Josephine, Asher and Braxton; great-grandchild, Khali; sister, Carol McElfresh; and brother-in-law, Ron Burbick.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Burbick, and brother-in-law, Gary McElfresh.

Family and friends may call 11 a.m. to noon Thursday, Feb. 19, at Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel. Funeral services will follow at noon.
