Vittorio Centofanti 1941-2026
STRUTHERS — Vittorio Centofanti , 84, passed away Friday afternoon, Feb. 13, 2026, at Hospice House.
Vittorio was born Aug. 27, 1941, in Fonte d’Amore, Sulmona, Italy, a son of Luciano and Pasqualina Ricottilli Centofanti.
He left Italy at 14 years old and moved to Venezuela, then came to the United States at 19 years old.
He served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Alaska.
He worked 41 years as a welder at the GM plant in Lordstown.
He was a member of Christ Our Savior Parish-St. Nicholas Church.
He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and gardening, and cherished spending time with his grandchildren and family.
Vittorio married the former Rose Marie DeMichele on June 10, 1967, and she passed away on July 16, 2016.
He leaves one daughter, Patricia A. (Dan) Pacella of Canfield; two brothers, Achille Centofanti and John (Marlene) Centofanti, both of Boardman; three grandchildren, Gianna Victoria Pacella, Elianna Maria Pacella and Gino Antonio Pacella; a brother-in-law, Ralph DiLisio of Poland; and several nieces and nephews.
Victorio was preceded in death by his parents; wife; one daughter, Victoria Rose Centofanti; one sister, Nancy DiLisio; and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dante and Concetta Centofanti.
A prayer service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026, at the Clemente Funeral Home, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at Christ Our Savior Parish-St. Nicholas Church, both in Struthers.
Friends may call 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20, 2026, at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers.
