Ricky Duncan Sr. 1956-2026
YOUNGSTOWN — Ricky Duncan Sr., 61, departed this life at 11 p.m. Monday, Feb. 16, 2026, at his residence, following complications from a short illness.
He was born Oct. 9, 1956, in Youngstown, the son of Roger and Jessie Diggins Duncan. He was a 1974 graduate of The Rayen School.
Ricky was employed with Towel Supply for 10 years as a forklift driver before retiring in 1991.
He enjoyed fixing cars.
Left to mourn Ricky are one son, Marcus Belton of Youngstown; five daughters, Ms. Brandy Burts of Youngstown, Ms. Monique Curry of Canton, Ms. Mecco Curry of Euclid, Ms. Monica Curry of Jersey Village, Texas, and Ms. Maleka Curry of Youngstown; three brothers, William (Susan) Duncan of Liberty Township, Charles Duncan of Youngstown and Jackie (Aretha) Duncan of Liberty Township; one sister, Ms. Linda Duncan of Youngstown; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Ricky Duncan Jr.; one brother, Andrew Duncan; and one sister, Mary Wolfe.
Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026, at Sterling-McCullough Williams Youngstown Funeral Chapel, with calling hours 11:30 a.m. to noon.
Arrangements of comfort were handled by Sterling-McCullough Williams Youngstown Funeral Home.
