Maryann Crago 1940-2026

She was born Sept. 8, 1940, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late David and Evelyn Schisler Maguire.

Maryann was a 1958 graduate of Jackson Milton High School. She worked as a cook in schools and nursing homes for many years. She loved her cats and took in strays over the years. She had a whole room dedicated for her crafts and sewing.

She is survived by her children, Laura (Vince) Luchison, Julie (Darrin) Goodrich, and Carl “Bud” (Debra) Gilmer III; several grandchildren; countless great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Carl W. Gilmer Jr.; second husband, Ronald Crago; and brother, David John Maguire

In accordance with Maryann’s wishes, there will be no funeral services. She will be laid to rest in Champion Township Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, material contributions can be made to Lane Funeral Homes in her memory.
