Kenneth Zomoida 1947-2026
CAMPBELL — Kenneth Zomoida, 78, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2026, at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital, with his family by his side.
Kenneth was born Feb. 13, 1947, in Youngstown, a son of John and Katherine Plentay Zomoida.
He was a 1965 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School and was an Army veteran, receiving a Purple Heart.
Kenneth married the love of his life, the former Cheryl Bushman, on Oct. 18, 1969; and they shared 56 years of marriage.
Kenneth worked for Youngstown Sheet and Tube and later retired from MCT as an over-the-road truck driver with over 20 years of service, retiring in 2012.
He was a member of the former St. Joseph the Provider Church in Campbell.
Kenneth loved his Cavs and Tribe. His favorite pastime was sitting and gossiping with his neighbors on the front porch.
Kenneth will be deeply missed and always remembered by his wife, Cheryl; his children, Kenny Zomoida and Heather Seidel, both of Campbell; his mother-in-law, Jean Bushman, also of Campbell; his brother-in-law, Robert (Patty) Bushman; and his sister-in-law, Carole Zomoida of Baltimore, Maryland, along with several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Robert and John Zomoida; father-in-law, John Bushman; and son-in-law, Eddie Seidel.
The Zomoida family has entrusted Kenneth’s care to the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell. No services will be held at this time.
