Jesse L. Lovell 1981-2026
STRUTHERS — Jesse Lee Lovell, 44, formerly of Lowellville, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2026.
Jesse was born Aug. 14, 1981, in Cleveland, a son of Ronald R. Lovell and Barbara L. Carr Lovell.
He was a 1999 graduate of Lowellville High School and earned his bachelor’s degree in business from California University.
Jesse proudly served his country in the United States Army as a paratrooper for three years. During his service, he earned the Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon and Overseas Service Ribbon.
Following his military service, Jesse returned to the Mahoning Valley, where he worked in construction for more than 10 years. He later transitioned into the automotive industry, working as a car salesman for the former Donnell Ford on Market Street in Boardman for five years.
Jesse was a rare soul who made every moment worthwhile. He loved deeply and left an unbreakable connection with all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Jesse is survived by his mother, Barbara Lovell of Lowellville; his life partner of 15 years, Jessica Christoff of Struthers, with whom he made his home; two sisters, Deborah (Gene) Hunt of Cleveland and Robin (Ben) Beal of Dunbar, Pa.; three brothers, Bud (Bonita) Ogle of Campbell, Scott (Kim) Ogle of Lowellville and Chris (Jenny) Ogle of Struthers; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald R. Lovell.
Family and friends may call 4 to 5:45 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026, at Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, 244 McGill St., Lowellville. A funeral service celebrating Jesse’s life will follow at 6 p.m., with Pastor Andy Mitchell officiating.
Burial will take place in St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery in Lowellville.
