Cynthia L. Romeo 1959-2026

Cindy was born Dec. 28, 1959, in Youngstown, daughter of the late Alma and Steve Marenkovic.

She worked as a dialysis technician for Fresenius Kidney Care in Hermitage for over 25 years, where she dedicated herself to caring for her patients with compassion and skill.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Cindy cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoyed making crafts for family and friends and was known for her love of baking.

Cindy is survived by her husband, Daniel E. Romeo, whom she married Nov. 20, 1992; her three daughters, Becky (Mel) McKee, Emily Romeo (fiance, Brandon Katta) and Alana Romeo; four grandchildren, Evvi and Jase McKee, Kallen Wanamaker and Quintin Tarbet; brothers, Roy and Steve Marenkovic; and her sister, Marsha (Mike) Lattanzio.

In addition to her parents, Cindy was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Wanamaker III.

Family and friends may call 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, 2026, with a memorial prayer service beginning at 4 p.m., at Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, 270 N. Main St., Poland.
