William J. Matyas 1953-2026

He was born Sept. 6, 1953, in Youngstown, a son of the late William and Mary E. Lindsay Matyas.

He was a 1971 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School. He worked as a machinist for over 40 years. William enjoyed fishing and deer hunting.

He is survived by his two children; five grandchildren; sisters, Debbie (James) Hunter and Patty Matyas; and brother, George (Dixie) Matyas.

William was preceded in death by his parents.

In accordance with his wishes, no funeral services will be held at this time.
