Ronald L. Musgrove 1952-2026

He was born Sept. 10, 1952, in Youngstown, a son of Robert and Dorothy Smith Musgrove. Ron was a 1970 graduate of Chaney High School.

He worked for Boak and Sons for a time and he owned and operated his own business, A1 Spray Polyurethane, for many years prior to retiring.

He married the former JoAnne DeCenso on June 17, 1989. Together they shared 36 years of marriage and many happy memories. She preceded him in death, May 8, 2025.

Ron enjoyed traveling, especially taking cruises with his wife, watching movies and collecting clocks. He was also an avid NASCAR and Formula 1 racing fan.

His greatest joy was his family, especially his two beloved grandsons and keeping up with all of their activities.

Ron was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by two sons, Ronald L. (Erin) Musgrove of Youngstown and Kyle R. (Samantha) Musgrove of Boonville, Indiana. He also leaves behind two brothers, Mark (Donna) Musgrove of Boardman and Brian Musgrove of San Bernardino, California; two grandsons, Kayden and Knox; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides his wife, Ron was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Bradley; and an infant sister.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 20, in the chapel at Green Haven Memorial Gardens, 3495 S. Canfield-Niles Road, Canfield, OH 44406, with burial to immediately follow.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Ronald’s memory to Canfield United Methodist Church, 27 S. Broad St., Canfield, OH 44406, or to any local animal shelter.
