Rebecca L. Haynes 1942-2025

BOARDMAN — Rebecca L. Haynes, a beloved mother, grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully Sunday, Dec. 21, 2025, at the age of 83, after a long battle with COPD.

Born Aug. 5, 1942, in Glasgow, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Louise Fisher (stepmother).

She dedicated her life to her family and with such love and care from her home.

She enjoyed countless moments at Camelot Lanes, where she spent 10 joyful years participating in bowling leagues. She found great joy in watching sports, often gathering with family to cheer for her favorite teams. In the kitchen, Rebecca’s culinary skills brought her family together around the table, where her delicious meals were shared by all.

Rebecca is survived by her daughters, Brenda (Donald) Wine of Poland, Beverly (Carl) Cooper of Poland and Teresa (David) Colabine of Pittsburgh, Pa.; her sons, Ricky (Teri) Haynes of London, Ohio, and James (Judi) Haynes of Celina, Texas; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and her stepsister, Evelyn Birge of Glasgow, Kentucky.

Rebecca was also preceded in death by her husband, Edward Roscoe Haynes, whom she married Jan. 14, 1956, and who passed away Jan. 3, 1993; and her son, Russell Haynes, who passed away Sept. 25, 2024; and her stepbrother, James Fisher, who passed away in 2022.

There will be no services.
