WARREN - Raymond P. Miskell, 79, formerly of Austintown, passed away early Sunday morning, Jan. 25, 2026, at Washington Square Healthcare, Warren.
Born Nov. 22, 1946, in Youngstown, he was the son of the late Farris and Ruth Megown Miskell.
On May 10, 1969, he married Cheryl J. Kastner, his beloved wife of 55 years, who passed Dec. 20, 2024.
Raymond was a United States Marine and avid hunter.
He worked as a welder for Heinz Industries for several years until his retirement.
Raymond always looked forward to the times he was able to spend with his family.
Survivors include four nieces, Jessica Ruess of New Middletown, Megan Ruess of Jasper, Indiana, Amy Barley of Gibsonia, Pa., and Nadine Davis of Aurora; one cousin, Donald Ebersbacher of Chesterland; two great-nieces; and seven great-nephews.
Visitation will be 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 1, at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle, Pa.
A funeral service and full military rites will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Burial will be alongside his wife in Castleview Cemetery.
