Marilyn A. Hartman 1951-2025

Marilyn was born Aug. 11, 1951, in Youngstown, the daughter of William and Virginia Gries Jankovich. She was a graduate of Austintown Beauty Academy and enjoyed being a beautician. Marilyn was a member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church in North Jackson.

She cherished her role as a mom and “Meme” and especially enjoyed playing bingo and shopping on QVC. Family meant everything to Marilyn, and she found her greatest joy in time spent with those she loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her former husband and lifelong friend, Robert Kubic Sr.; her son, Robert Kubic Jr.; and her brother, Kenneth Jankovich.

Left to cherish Marilyn’s memory are her children, Christina Kubic Antal (Paul) and Scott Kubic; her grandchildren, Wyatt Antal, Taylor Kubic and Elaina Star Kubic; one great-grandchild; and her sister, Mary Lou Crawford (Scott).

The family will receive relatives and friends 5 to 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9, 2026, at Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel. A memorial service will be at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family requests, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 1110 N. Salem-Warren Road, North Jackson, OH 44451.
