Mae A. Caldwell 1933-2026

Mae was born May 23, 1933, in Youngstown, a daughter of Charles and Belle Walter Kalchthaler.

She was a 1951 graduate of East High School.

Mae was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church.

She enjoyed flower gardens, baking, bowling and polka dancing.

Her husband, Robert E. Caldwell, whom she married April 27, 1957, passed away Nov. 13, 2024.

Mae will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her family. They include her children, Sheila (Vincent) Donnelly of Stoutsville, Diane (Ronald) Perry of Hubbard, Robert (Darla) Caldwell of Toronto, Ohio, and Thomas Caldwell of Masury; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She also leaves her sister-in-law, Anne Beck of Naples, Florida.

Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; her brothers, John, James, Robert and Michael; and her sisters, infant Mary Kalchthaler, Barbara Fleming, Margaret Craig, Martha Keasey, Ruth Orlando and Anne McKenna.
