Gerald Dimoff 1952-2026
STRUTHERS — Gerald Dimoff, 73, passed away peacefully at home Wednesday evening, Jan. 7, 2026, surrounded by his family.
Jerry was born Jan. 21, 1952, in Youngstown, the son of Steve and Mary Havalo Dimoff.
Jerry worked as an auto assembler for over 35 years at General Motors Lordstown, retiring in 2004.
Jerry had many loves and interests to enjoy after retirement. He loved Chrysler and Mopar classic cars and attending car shows, especially the Hershey, Pa., car show every fall. He looked forward to his travels to Wildwood, New Jersey, and going on cruises. He enjoyed going to movies and loved going out to dinner, especially to Thanos and the Diner. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren.
Jerry will always be remembered lovingly by his wife, Debbie Kostelnak Dimoff, whom he married Oct. 5, 1974; his daughter, Stacie (Joe) Belyusar; four grandchildren, Kayla and A.J. Belyusar, and twins, Olivia and Rosalie Dimoff; daughter-in-law, Allison Dimoff; sister, Mary Alyce (Kim Dyer) Dimoff; brother, Steve (Bob Hartsema) Dimoff; sisters-in-law, Patty (Steve) Raseta, whose husband he considered as a second brother, and Doreen (Dan) Fox; brother-in-law, John Kostelnak; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his son, Steve Dimoff; and in-laws, John and Josephine Kostelnak.
Family and friends may pay their respects 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 11, 2026, at the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave., Boardman.
A Funeral Divine Liturgy will be 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 12, 2026, at St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church, 463 Robinson Road, Campbell, with the Very Rev. Kevin E. Marks as celebrant. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the church Monday morning.
