Anne M. Kopinsky 1926-2025
CAMPBELL — Anne M. Kopinsky, 99, passed away peacefully at Hospice House on Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2025, with her family by her side.
Anne was born June 23, 1926, daughter of Valent and Anne Durina Bachani in Campbell.
Anne graduated from Campbell Memorial High School in 1944. Anne began her working career at Strouss’ Department Store and worked for several physicians’ offices as a bookkeeper and medical receptionist until her retirement in 1989. She continued working at Kirila Funeral Home in Struthers until passing.
Anne belonged to the monthly bingo ladies club formed while living in the Youngstown Sheet & Tube Company Houses in Campbell and formed lifelong friends.
Anne was an avid reader; she was also an NFL and college football fan, cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland Browns, Kansas City Chiefs, Ohio State and Notre Dame. Along with football, she also enjoyed watching golf.
Anne is survived by her loving daughters, Diane (Andrew) Brincko and Alberta (David) Benedetto; grandson, Nicholas (Dr. Kristyn) Benedetto; great-grandchildren, Dominic, Isabelle and Emelia Benedetto; and her stepgranddaughter, Tiffany (Bryan) Brown.
Anne was preceded in death by her parents. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Richard; and her husband, Albert, whom she married Nov. 6, 1948, and who passed away Nov. 29, 1995.
Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 4, 2026, at Kirila Funeral Home, 258 Poland Ave., Struthers. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 5, for a Mass of Christian Burial at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish-St. John Church in Campbell, with services starting at 10 a.m.
Anne will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery.
